When it comes to leakage problems here are some helpful tips to keep in mind:
Have you noticed whether your Ariel powder looks different to your last powder?
That's because it is! Ariel has been reformulated to give you the same performing product using less detergent hence less dosage per wash which leads to more sustainable improvements with reduced energy consumption /raw materials consumptions and less CO2 emissions. Independent external environmentalist experts have confirmed that washing at low temperatures and using more concentrated laundry detergents are 2 key factors which aim at making laundry products sustainable.
The Maintenance Wash
Taking care of your washing machine
It is advised to perform monthly maintenance washes on your machine if you constantly wash on cold/cool cycles. This can be done by loading an empty wash at either 60 degrees or even higher using a biological powder like Ariel which contains bleach.
The importance of dosing and using the right detergent to wash your clothes.
A non-colour detergent is to be used specifically on white garments and it is important to keep in mind the amount of dosing one uses. Make sure you calculate the right amount vs your load size and keep in mind the level of soiling the clothes you are washing have. Putting too much product (overdosing) combined with the level of soiling can cause green or sometimes blue huing on white fabric. This effect is rare and can be due an incorrect dosage of product used. Within the non-colour detergents are ingredients called Photobleaches . These ingredients are specifically designed to give extra cleaning power after washing. Once these garments are taken out of the washing machine and put out to dry the effect of sunlight continues the reaction of the detergent performance. The most important thing to remember is always to follow on-pack instructions whilst ensuring you are using the correct dose of detergent based on the size of your wash and the level of soiling on your garments.
To pre-treat a stain, soak your garment in Ariel Excel Gel for 10-15 minutes before washing. Longer if the stain is particularly stubborn. You can use any pre-treatment spray on cottons and polyesters. On more delicate fabrics such as linens and silks, dab a mild or neutral soap on lightly. Make sure you only pre-treat garments that are able to be washed.

Advice From Gillette For The Best Shave Ever
Six Tips for the Perfect Everyday Shave
Individually, our shampoos and conditioners help restore scalps to health, by helping prevent dandruff and leave hair soft and manageable. Dr John Gray, one of our leading trichologists (scalp expert), has a few tips to help you get the most from head & shoulders:Use head & shoulders regularly. It’s gentle enough for daily use, Plus, it doesn’t smell medicated. There are a range of scents to match your taste.Spend two minutes lathering your hair before rinsing. It’s as important as the two minutes you spend brushing your teeth, however consider your environment and turn off the water while lathering. Finally, pat your hair dry. Vigorous rubbing can damage it. And go easy on the heat when drying as too much can also damage hair.Follow these steps and you’ll soon forget about an itchy, flaky scalp: all you’ll notice is gorgeous, healthy-looking hair.
Treat your hair like your skinJust as shampoo is like your daily skin cleanser and conditioner is your moisturiser, I think it’s important to give your hair a monthly spa cleanse, just as you’d go for a facial. I advise my clients to use a clarifying shampoo once a month to deep cleanse their hair. It seems to really revitalize hair, bringing out colour and shine. Then, follow with your regular Pantene shampoo, conditioner and the intensive treatment too, following my tips above for the best pampering experience.Shampoo correctlyA good shampooing technique helps maintain the health of your hair. Don’t pile all your hair on the top of your head and rub vigorously, as this creates friction and tangles, which lead to damage and dullness. Instead, let your hair hang naturally, either whilst standing in the shower or leaning over the bath, and work the shampoo through gentlyCondition your hair regularlyIt’s essential that you condition after every shampoo, whether that’s daily or every few days, to provide your hair with moisture and nourishment. Hair in need is very unattractive!Give your hair a strength workoutJust as a fitness trainer would recommend certain exercises to work on particular areas of the body, a once a week deep conditioning treatment helps to target damaged areas of the hair that could weaken the overall structure. Pantene Intensives are particularly effective at targeting in these areas.Moisturise those ends! You need to pay extra attention to the ends of your hair, especially if it’s shoulder-length or longer. The tips could easily be three or more years old and therefore quite weathered. Try using an intensive leave-in product, such as Repair & Protect Serum, on the last 1-2 inches of your hair at least once a week. Apply before blow-drying to protect the tips against moisture loss and damage.
